Adams County Assessor's Office – Commercial Appraisal Supervisor: The Commercial Department is responsible for determining the value of commercial and industrial classes and subclasses of property. This includes responsibility for discovering, listing, classifying, and valuing all types of commercial and industrial properties, such as office buildings, warehouses, shopping centers, retail stores, refineries, motels and hotels, self-storage facilities, multi-use properties, and special-purpose properties.


The Commercial Department values properties using the three approaches to value as described in the Colorado Revised Statutes: the cost, market, and income approaches. In addition, this department reviews real estate transfer declaration schedules, confirms and verifies sales, and maintains income and expense data for commercial and industrial properties.


Capital Return Advisors, LLC – Senior Managing Director: Responsibilities include real estate valuation and consulting. CRA provides a broad range of experience in valuation and analysis of all types of real estate, including, but not limited to, self-storage, apartments, business parks, hotels/motels, offices, manufactured home communities, flex facilities, warehouses, bulk distribution facilities, shopping centers, vacant land, churches, restaurants, complex residential, and special purpose properties. 


Department of Finance, City and County of Denver – Staff Commercial Property Appraiser: Responsibilities include providing appraisals and recording all of Denver's real and personal properties in compliance with the Colorado Constitution, State statutes, and Board of Equalization procedures. Certifying valuations to 48 special tax districts and tracking values and annual tax increments within the city's 22 tax increment financing (TIF) projects. The division prepares and delivers the tax warrant to the Treasurer, maintains records for senior citizen exemptions, generates value notices for all taxpayers, and processes written and in-person valuation protests and appeals.


Division of Real Estate – Compliance Investigator: Responsibilities include investigating allegations of real estate appraiser misconduct to maintain compliance with licensing laws. Additional responsibilities include accountability for decision-making regarding investigations of non-compliance. Investigations of complex appraisals involving eminent domain, commercial transactions, one to four-unit residential properties, vacant land, farm and ranch, and conservation easements.


CORE Realty Advisors, LLC – Commercial Real Estate Market Analyst: Responsibilities include assisting a mentor appraiser with verifying subject site and improvement data. Administer the following evaluations: market analysis, trend analysis, regional analysis, marketability studies, and absorption analysis. Research comparable properties for the sales comparison approach and property evaluations. Survey reasonable exposure time and marketing period. Complete subject property inspections and assist in the development of the appraisal report.
